The North Shore Recycling Program is a municipal agency, reporting to the three North Shore municipalities - City of North Vancouver, District of North Vancouver and West Vancouver.  Created in 1990, the agency administers a variety of programs and services for North Shore residents. These include: 

• Single-Family Blue Box (Curbside) Recycling Program
• Multi-Family (Apartment, Condo & Townhouse) Blue Cart Recycling Program
• North Shore Recycling Drop-off Depot
• Elementary and Secondary School Education Programs
• Community Education Programs (workshop series, contests, events, etc.)
• GardenSmart (composting, grasscycling, mulching, etc.)
• Display Campaigns
• Community Partnerships
• Environmental Information and Referral Service
• Composter Sales and Building Plans
• Special Programs (worm bin distribution, Natural Garden Parties, etc.)
