North Shore Recycling Office will be CLOSED on Monday, January 30

The North Shore Recycling Program office will be closed on Monday, January 30, due to a planned power outage by BC Hydro. As a result, our office will have no access to phones or e-mail during the outage, and our voicemail system will be unavailable for messages.

For missed recycling collection in the City of North Vancouver, District of North Vancouver, and District of West Vancouver contact Waste Management directly @ 604.929.3416.

For missed garbage or yard trimmings collection in West Vancouver only, contact Emterra directly @ 604.929.6364.

The Recycling Drop-off Depot located at 29 Riverside Drive, will be open as usual, 8am-5pm, for blue box or bag pick-up.

Regular office functions will resume on Tuesday, January 31 @ 8:00am.

A new “Apartment, Condo & Townhouse Recycling Guide” will be delivered to all apartment residents in mid-January.

The new guide is designed to meet the unique needs of apartment residents, with details about preparing and sorting materials, what should not be included in the program and contact info for recycling beyond the blue cart.
