New Battery Recycling Program
Since 1997, Call2Recycle has been the organization coordinating drop-off depots and recycling of rechargeable batteries in BC.  Beginning July 1, BC residents are now able to recycle ALL household batteries, rechargeables and non-rechargeables.  For more information, visit call2recycle.ca or call (888) 224.9764.  Please note this is a product stewardship program and not a program of the North Shore Recycling Program or your local municipality - please direct all questions about the program to the contacts listed above.

Fluorescent Light Bulb Recycling

LightRecycle is the new BC Fluorescent Lights Recycling program, brought to you by Product Care (the program that handles your old paint and pesticides at the transfer station).  Starting July 1, BC residents can now drop off their burned-out household fluorescent lights and tubes for safe and responsible recycling.   Visit lightrecycle.ca for more information.
