Olympic Torch Relay Service Disruptions
As the Olympic Torch Relay makes its way through North and West Vancouver, please note that there will likely be service recycling collection service disruptions, specifically to our Recycling Drop-off Depot at 29 Riverside Drive.  Due to road closures on Main Street and Dollarton Highway, the Depot will be inaccessible between 8:30 am and 10:30 am on Wednesday, February 10 - please plan accordingly.  The Torch Relay may also cause collection delays in other areas of the North Shore on Wednesday.  Our contractor needs to remain on schedule - if Torch Relay delays are lengthy in any specific areas, those areas may be skipped for the week (due to uncertainty of traffic, etc., that day, we can not predict ahead of time which streets or areas may be affected).  If your collection day is Wednesday and your recycling is missed, please bring it in and set it out again the following week. Click here for the Torch Relay map from the North Shore News

2010 Recycling & Garbage Collection Schedules
2010 Recycling & Garbage Collection Schedules & Guides were delivered to most homes via unaddressed admail (and some hand delivered) the first two weeks of January. If you do not receive your hardcopy collection schedule by January 20, or receive the schedule of another municipality (this happens in some areas due to postal walk/municipal boundary overlap, plus it seems there have been some errors from Canada Post) please download the digital version or call 604.984.9730, email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it , or visit your local municipal hall or the NSRP office (148 East 2nd Street, North Vancouver) or Recycling Drop-off Depot (29 Riverside Drive) to pick up a copy.  Click here for links to the online calendar for your municipalityNOTE: Hard copies of the City of North Vancouver calendars are only available by calling the City Works Yard at 604.987.7155 (inventories are low and we are awaiting a potential re-order).
